A homeowner in West Friendship, MD was dealing with high humidity throughout the home caused by excess moisture rising from the crawl space. The damp conditions below the house were contributing to musty air, reduced comfort, and concerns about mold growth and long-term damage to the wooden structure. NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair installed a complete crawl space encapsulation system, including drainage matting to help manage groundwater, SilverGlo® insulation to improve energy efficiency, CleanSpace® vapor barrier to seal out moisture, and a high-performance dehumidifier to control humidity levels. After the installation, the crawl space was cleaner, drier, and better protected, helping reduce moisture in the home and creating a healthier, more comfortable living environment.
Customer was concerned about about standing water in the crawlspace as well as lack of insulation provided under the house. Our technical advisors explained that adding drainage matting along with our Silverglow insulation will remedy the situation for a dry and clean crawlspace as well as insulation.
