A homeowner in Ellicott City, MD had a concrete walk-down basement entryway wall that was beginning to fail, creating concerns about safety and long-term stability. NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair installed GeoLock wall anchors to stabilize the wall and help prevent additional movement. Once the repair was complete, the basement entryway was safer and more secure, and the customer was happy with the results.
The home's crawlspace foundation was starting to show signs of settling. To address this, we implemented a smart jack system and added a supplemental beam to provide additional support to the foundation.
In a newer, two-year-old home in Aquasco, MD, the owner was alarmed to find cracks developing throughout the property—a clear sign of a serious problem. Concerned about potential foundation settlement, they called NV Waterproofing and Foundation Repair for a free inspection. We discovered that the foundation was indeed settling, causing stress on the upper two floors. To resolve the issue, our team installed a heavy-duty supplemental beam in the basement, secured by three powerful SmartJack XT support posts. This system immediately halted the settlement and provided robust support to the home's structure. Now, the home is permanently stabilized, preventing further cracking and giving the homeowner lasting peace of mind that their investment is secure.
