Gail O. was experiencing water issues in her unfinished basement. In her search for a solution, she called NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair. Mauricio Carvalho went out to give her an idea of ways she could mitigate her water problems permanently.
He proposed the installation of a TripleSafe sump pump, accompanied by a CleanSpace Wall System, and WaterGuard. The CleanSpace wall system is a clean and durable vapor barrier for basement walls that helps to prevent water vapor from permeating into the basement, as well as draining any wall leaks that occur. WaterGuard is a piping system that intercepts water that appears along the perimeter of the basement and reroutes it back to the installed sump pump. All of these solutions work together to keep the basement dry and water free.
With these systems in place, Gail O. will be able to enjoy a dry, clean basement in her forever home for many years. NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair is glad to have been able to finally solve Gail's reoccurring water issues.
Seema, from Vienna VA, noticed that there was a vertical crack on her basement foundation wall, and it had begun to seep water. Being that she was a past customer of NV Waterproofing, she gave us a call right away.
We sent out one of our top project design specialists, Greg, to evaluate Seema's wall and give her options for repairs. One of those options was to install our FlexiSpan, flexible sealant, which will never dry or crack and it flexes to the natural movement of the foundation wall. Seema was very happy with the results of the repair once again.
Trust from Great Falls VA wanted to get an estimate to water proof and seal up the crawl space below his home. There was always water in it and a musty smell coming from it.
He gave NV Waterproofing a call to set up a free on-site estimate for repairs as we are experts in this field. We sent out one of our system design specialists, Greg, to provide Trust with an estimate for the job. He agreed to the proposal and put down a deposit to have the work done that Greg suggested.
Our installation team installed our full encapsulation system, including our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier which will ensure that the crawl space stays dry, clean and energy-efficient. Underneath the vapor barrier they installed our WaterGuard Perimeter Drainage System, which will capture any water that gets into the crawlspace and bring it to our SuperSump Sump Pump System.
Trust now has a beautiful crawl space which he can even use for extra storage, and he will not have to worry about any musty smells or water getting into it ever again.

The home, that was built in 1959, was recently purchased. The buyer wanted to make sure the structure would last with a permanent solution.
The crawl space had wooden beams exposed to the elements. This could lead to sagging floors, separating floorboards and other issues inside the home.
The homeowner trusted NV Waterproofing to inspect his crawl space foundation. The design specialist educated the homeowners on the reasons why they were seeing the issues outlined in the inspectors report. The homeowner agreed it would be best to replace the joists in the space and add a steel supplemental beam to reinforce the structure.
