Solution
After completing a detailed inspection, our team designed and installed a comprehensive basement waterproofing system tailored to the home’s specific needs. To address the water intrusion at its source, we installed an interior perimeter drainage system along the basement floor to capture water at the cove joint before it could spread across the space. This system directs water efficiently to a TripleSafe™ sump pump, which actively removes water from the home—even during heavy storms or unexpected power outages.
To further protect the basement, we installed a CleanSpace® vapor barrier along the walls. This not only prevents moisture from entering the living space but also channels any wall seepage directly into the drainage system below. On the exterior, we extended the discharge line and ensured proper grading so that water is safely directed away from the foundation, reducing pressure against the home.
With the system fully in place, the basement is now clean, dry, and protected year-round. Even after heavy rainstorms, the homeowner has not experienced any further water intrusion.
