Window Well Replacement & Exterior Drainage Solution in Beltsville
Challenge
A homeowner in Beltsville was experiencing ongoing water concerns at the end of their home, where an aging and ineffective window well was no longer providing proper protection. During heavy rain, water would collect around the window well and fail to drain away efficiently, increasing the risk of leaks and moisture intrusion into the basement. In addition, the grading around this area was not directing water away from the foundation, allowing runoff to pool near the home and worsen the problem over time.
Solution
To resolve the issue, our team replaced the existing window well with a durable SunHouse® window well and installed a SunHouse® flat cover to help keep out debris and excess water. We improved the grading around the home to ensure proper drainage away from the foundation and installed a complete exterior drainage system.
