A homeowner in Rockville, MD, was experiencing significant water pooling in his backyard every time there was a heavy rain. Solution

We designed a comprehensive yard drainage system to effectively capture and redirect the excess water away from the home's foundation.
Our production team began by installing a new French drain system along the problem areas of the yard to collect the subsurface water. To manage the heavy runoff from the roof, we buried the downspout extensions and connected them to a new discharge line. This line channeled all the collected water from both the downspouts and the French drain to a LawnScape outlet, which allows water to be safely released away from the house. A cleanout port was also installed to allow for easy future maintenance. The homeowner was very pleased with the result—a dry yard, a protected basement, and lasting peace of mind.
