Before & After
A church in Potomac, MD was experiencing clear signs of basement water intrusion. Before the repair, efflorescence was visible along the cinderblock basement walls, showing where moisture had been pushing through the block. Water was also entering at the base of the wall where the foundation wall meets the floor, which is a common problem area during heavy rain or ongoing drainage issues.
To provide a long-term waterproofing solution, NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair installed a WaterGuard interior drainage system to collect water at the wall-floor joint and direct it away from the basement. We also installed CleanSpace along the basement walls to help control moisture and create a cleaner, brighter space. Exterior drainage was added to help move water away from the church foundation and reduce the chance of future water problems.
After the project was completed, the church basement was better protected from water intrusion, moisture, and continued damage. With WaterGuard, CleanSpace, and improved exterior drainage in place, the church now has a cleaner, drier, and more reliable basement space for the congregation.
