• Implementing an Exterior Pump System, including the Flu Line. This involves primarily or wholly digging with equipment, excavating a trench to expose the foundation wall from grade level to the base of the footer. Any dirt and debris on the wall will be removed, and the wall will be thoroughly cleaned. Cracks, seams, holes, and imperfections in the foundation wall will be sealed, followed by the application of liquid rubberized waterproofing sealant to subgrade walls. A semi-rigid drain board will be installed on treated walls, secured with a termination bar, and sealed with caulking material. A French drain system embedded in gravel, enclosed by filter fabric, will be installed, draining to a sump pump or directly to the exterior area of the house. Finally, the excavated area will be backfilled, graded, and tamped.
