I had a very positive experience with Christopher, System Design Specialist & Advisor with NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair. He was extremely thorough in assessing the concrete floor in my unfinished basement, where cracks of varying widths have recently developed. Christopher explained and demonstrated the tools he would be using during the inspection, including a void hammer to help determine whether soil had eroded beneath the concrete and a moisture reader. I appreciated that he took the time to explain what he was looking for and why. He arrived on time, presented himself very professionally, and was both personable and knowledgeable. What I appreciated most, however, was that he did not try to oversell me. He had no idea that NV was the second company I had contacted for an inspection. After completing his assessment, Christopher reviewed his findings with me and explained the recommended service and cost. I then shared that NV's price was significantly lower than the competitor's. In fact, NV's service included something the other company would have charged me extra to do. The competitor explained that after lifting the concrete and filling the void areas beneath it, there would be an additional charge if I wanted the cracks on the surface of the concrete filled. NV included crack filling as part of their service. Needless to say, I chose NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair for the job. Christopher's professionalism, knowledge, thoroughness, and straightforward approach gave me confidence in my decision. I will update this review later this year after the work has been completed, but based on my experience with Christopher so far, I would definitely recommend him and NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair.
