Challenge

A client from Lovettsville, VA voiced their concerns about a drainage problem in their basement's window well. According to the client, each rainfall event led to flooding within the well.

Solution

Upon inspection, our Technical Advisor determined that the window well required a drainage system. As a result, we installed a well duct coupled with a downspout extension. Additionally, we put in place a box drain connected to the foundation drain, ensuring that future flooding via the window well is prevented.
