What You Would Do
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on diesel vehicles and equipment.
Carry out regular maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
Test drive vehicles to gauge performance.
Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with vehicle standards and regulations.
Use diagnostic equipment to identify problems.
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
Lead and develop our warehouse staff Ensure needed inventory levels
Ensure inventory is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner
Maintain warehouse to showroom level Improve warehouse operations by determining product handling and storage requirements, developing, implementing, enforcing and evaluating policies and procedures for receiving product, equipment utilization, and inventory management
Oversee the company & tool inventory program, including negotiation with vendors, ordering, storage, and maintenance
Confer with department managers to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with various departments
Ensure our production crews have a remarkable internal customer service experience
What We Need for this Role
Proficient in the use of all tools of trade (including welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools).
1+ year of warehouse, logistics, or inventory management experience & Knowledge of purchase techniques and guidelines
Effective communication skills
Effective computer skills
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, walk, crawl, and climb a ladder
